Privacy Policy — Kidomi

Kidomi is a learning app for children ages 4–8. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We collect as little as possible and give parents control.

What we collect

From the parent

• Google account email (and name/photo if provided by Google Sign-In) used only to create and secure the adult account.

About each child profile

• Nickname (any name you choose — real name not required)
• Age band (e.g. 4–8)
• Avatar chosen from built-in pictures (not camera photos)
• Learning progress (stars, completed lessons, streaks, badges/stickers)
• Optional settings such as screen-time preferences

Automatically

• Device platform needed for app function
• Subscription entitlement status via RevenueCat when you purchase (we do not receive card numbers)

What we do NOT do

• No advertising and no ad tracking SDKs
• No selling personal data for marketing
• No open chat, social feeds, or free-form public user content
• Children cannot complete purchases — billing is behind a parent gate and handled by Google Play / Apple

Voice lessons

Some lessons use on-device speech recognition (speech_to_text). The app does not record, store, or upload raw audio of the child's voice for our own servers.

How data is used

• Deliver lessons and track per-child progress
• Sync progress and child profiles for signed-in parents across devices
• Process premium subscriptions
• Respond to support requests you send in-app

Storage and security

Data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS. Servers run on our cloud infrastructure (Fly.io application hosting, Neon PostgreSQL). Local progress may be cached on the device for offline play.

Parents' rights (COPPA / GDPR where applicable)

From Grown-ups in the app you can:

• View progress and manage child profiles
• Delete the account (30-day grace period, then permanent removal)
• Contact support

Email privacy or deletion requests to support@pixelcrafts.app from the parent account email.
